Why is learning how to code important at this age?
learning code is important at this age because it can help you out a lot in the future. That is one of the main reasons why I have been taking globaloria since 6th grade.
how will knowing something about computer science benefit you?

Draw a background
It wasn't very difficult for me to draw a background because of my topic. My game is named "Saving Habitats", which is included in my background. It is named that way for the reason that my game is on deforestation. I used the colors brown and green because trees are usually those colors. I also added a tree in the background and some buttons to get one started on the game (play, instructions, about). I definitely know I can improve my background but as of now I like it the way it is.

Today we continued to trace our hidden objects drawing. We had to draw 10 hidden objects and draw a background for it. My topic is deforestation, therefore my goal is to make my background contain trees on the back. I am focusing on the Amazon in Brazil, and how they cut down trees and leave animals without habitats.

Choosing learning topic
Big subject area: I am not very positive on what I want my game to be about, but I am sure that I want it to be about an important topic that people don't know about.
One really important thing I learned to do in this subject is: that people don't know much about it, and there is a variety of things you should know.
Other people should learn how to: know about important things and more facts about this topic.

- Name of the game: The name of the game is "Kitty Math".
- What were you looking for? I was trying to find the coordinates on a graph before they emergency arrives.
- Was the game fun to play? Explain why. The game wasn't as entertaining for the reason that it didn't give me enough time and what I had to do wasn't clear enough.

Recycling stuff
In the video you saw how different material are recycled. Explain how some of these materials are recycled. What are some simple ways to start recycling?
Different materials are recycled by what type of material the item is. They are placed in different groups depending also on their number in the bottom of the bottle. The number tells you what group it belongs to. The things are recycled because they are types are material that can be reused such as cardboard or plastic. In Austin, Texas it is pretty easy to recycle because in every house hold they city provided a trash can, and a separate recycling bin.
At my house it gets full pretty fast because a lot of items can be reused. Some ideas that can be used to create a cleaner environment at Ea prep could be, to perhaps also provide a separate trash can for the recyclable items. And try to choose better things, and only have things that are useful.

people are leaving piles of things, such as technology, like tv's, glass, and electronics, which is also known as tech-trash.

Could the world be changed?
I honestly think the world could be changed, it would just take a lot, maybe a little too much. everyone has to be able to want to change it. They have to want to be the difference. At the point we are at now this generation is way too out of control, but no one but the generation it's self can do anything to change that.
New school year
I believe that there aren't' many differences this school year, I mean there is some improvements like the new sports, the way they are trying to make us be like a regular high school. For example, we are actually having homecoming this year, it's not exactly like other school homecoming because we aren't going to have the dance. This is also our first year with tackle football.

Game design
In my opinion Game design is a good choice of class to take. It teaches you a lot, technology is always a good resource and is always something good to know about. It will help you a lot in your future, it also looks really good on your college applications. I mean, this is my fourth year in technology. honestly, game design isn't my biggest priority and isn't what I am best at, but as i have said before it is a very good resource.
